Illuminated Resonance A Feature-length XR Cinematic Film dNASAb in collaboration with the South Beach Sound Healing Orchestra
[dNASAb] is a Miami-based interdisciplinary artist and immersive cinema director working at the intersection of AI, XR, ecology, and sound.
Knight Foundation Recipient · First Prize, Best National Pavilion, Durrës Biennale 2024, USA
Illuminated Resonance is not a concept. It is a proven experience — already performed live in cathedrals, botanical gardens, outdoor amphitheaters, 360-degree immersion rooms, and natural ecosystems across Miami, to sold-out audiences who leave transformed. The awe is real. The healing is real. The audience response is real.
The mission now is simple and ambitious in equal measure: global expansion of a proven product — bringing this work to the world’s great sacred spaces, planetarium domes, film festivals, and natural environments, and through cinema, to millions of people who will never be able to attend a live performance.
This is what the investment makes possible.

Overview
Illuminated Resonance is a feature-length cinematic experience and XR immersive platform, developed in collaboration with the South Beach Sound Healing Orchestra.
This project emerges from a growing archive of original works:
- Site-responsive projection-mapped cinematic films
- Live improvisational immersive visual environments
- AI-augmented visual systems — geometry, cymatics, sound visualization
- Natural patterns and ecosystems filmed across diverse environments
These works were originally created for large-scale immersive environments — cathedrals, botanical gardens, amphitheaters, waterfall sites, and 360-degree immersion rooms. They have been performed live, refined through audience response, and validated in the field.
They now form the foundation of a feature-length film.
Illuminated Resonance transforms a proven live immersive practice into a cinematic experience built for global audiences — and a touring live platform built for the world’s greatest stages.

The Film
A Cinema Built to Inspire Awe
There is a moment when projection-mapped light falls across a waterfall in motion — and the boundary between technology and nature dissolves entirely. What remains is something ancient and futuristic simultaneously: sublime, psychedelic, and alive. This is the world Illuminated Resonance was built to create — and to carry to audiences everywhere.
[dNASAb] has spent years authoring original cinematic works — projection-mapped films, AI-augmented visual compositions, geometric and cymatic systems — created for specific spaces and presented in large-scale immersive environments. Each work was built with cinematic intention: composed, sequenced, and designed as a visual experience in its own right. Projected onto cathedrals, botanical gardens, waterfalls, and ocean surfaces, these works have consistently produced something rare: genuine awe.
Illuminated Resonance assembles this body of original work into a feature-length cinematic journey — unified, continuous, and expanded by a new series of filmed musician sequences shot in the extraordinary natural ecosystems of South Florida.
Two Interwoven States
Human Presence — Filmed in Nature
A solo musician playing crystal bowls sits in the crystalline shallow water of the ocean at golden hour. Small glassy waves move around them. Filmed from multiple angles — intimate and aerial, drone overhead, 360-degree immersion — the performance is both deeply human and elementally vast. Projection-mapped cinematic imagery falls across the water surface, the mangroves, the rocks, the living world itself — merging the musician’s practice with the visual language of the film in real time.
Each musician is filmed in a specific South Florida ecosystem chosen for its resonance with the sound being played. These are not staged performances. They are genuine encounters between human presence, sound healing, and the natural world — captured cinematically and elevated into something visionary. They are the soul of the film.
All musician sequences are recorded in spatially designed 360-degree high-fidelity audio, mastered for Dolby Atmos export — ensuring the film is fully formatted for planetariums, dome environments, and the most advanced immersive exhibition venues in the world. The ambient sounds of each location are captured as compositional elements in their own right: the movement of water, wind through mangroves, the resonance of a natural landscape holding sound. These are not incidental — they are part of the score.
Immersive Visual Cinema
Original projection-mapped and AI-augmented compositions — geometry, light, cymatics, and sound-based visual systems — expand into abstract worlds of pure sensation. Psychedelic. Spatial. Designed for large-format and immersive environments. This is the visual universe the film inhabits: vast, non-linear, and built to take audiences somewhere they have never been.
The Rhythm of the Film
These two states breathe together in a continuous cycle. The immersive visual world opens and expands. A musician appears — present, grounded, surrounded by living nature. The world opens again. This rhythm is the film’s emotional architecture: expansion, grounding, return. Each cycle deepens the experience. By the end, audiences have traveled somewhere. They feel it.
This is what it means to heal through cinema.

The Experience
Sound Drives the Film
This is a sound-driven cinematic experience. Sound shapes every dimension of the work — pacing, transitions, and emotional trajectory. The visuals are not illustrative. They are immersive environments, designed for large-scale viewing, that respond to and extend the sonic world rather than simply accompany it.
The result is sustained attention, deep sensory immersion, and a shared collective experience that leaves audiences transformed. Not entertained. Transformed.

Why Now
We are living through a period of heightened stress, social fragmentation, and environmental uncertainty. At the same time, demand for immersive, restorative, and meaningful experience is accelerating globally. The World Health Organization has recognized the role of the arts in supporting emotional and psychological wellbeing — and audiences everywhere are responding, seeking experiences that ground, heal, and connect.
Immersive cinema, spatial audio, and sound-based wellness practices are not emerging trends. They are arriving simultaneously, from different directions, at the same profound cultural need.
The market for immersive experience is growing rapidly. The appetite for healing is urgent. The technology to deliver both at cinematic scale now exists.
Illuminated Resonance exists precisely at this convergence — and it arrives at exactly the right moment.

The Market Has Already Spoken — Comparable Works
Illuminated Resonance enters a field where the appetite for exactly this kind of work has been proven at scale, repeatedly, across multiple formats.
The format is proven — Björk’s Biophilia
When Björk brought together live immersive performance, spatial sound, natural world imagery, and multi-platform technology into a single touring ecosystem, critics described the result as a convergence of science, music, nature, and magic. The project entered the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and received Grammy nominations. Biophilia did not create an audience for this kind of work. It revealed one that already existed — and was hungry for it. Illuminated Resonance is built for that same audience, with sound healing, sacred architecture, and XR cinema as its specific language.
The trajectory is proven — Sleep No More by Punchdrunk
Punchdrunk began as an independent theater company with a radical idea: place audiences inside the work, remove passive observation, and produce genuine awe. What started as a modestly funded independent production became a global phenomenon. The Shanghai production alone generated over $75 million in revenue and welcomed more than 620,000 participants over eight years. The lesson is not the scale — it is the mechanism: a format built around awe, proven in one city, scales globally when the work is strong enough. Illuminated Resonance has that same mechanism. The proof of concept exists. The format is already traveling.
The field is proven — Venice Immersive
Launched in 2017 as the first dedicated XR competition at an A-list film festival, Venice Immersive now represents the definitive global standard for immersive cinema — drawing submissions from dozens of countries and launching works onto the international distribution circuit. The field has institutional recognition at the highest level. Illuminated Resonance is built precisely for this circuit.
The market is proven — by the numbers
China’s immersive entertainment industry alone reached a consumer market size of approximately $13 billion by late 2023, with over 32,000 immersive experience projects recorded domestically. Globally, demand for immersive, healing-oriented, and multi-sensory cultural experiences is accelerating across every demographic and every continent. This is not a niche. It is a rapidly expanding cultural economy — and Illuminated Resonance is positioned at its most meaningful and underserved intersection: awe, healing, sacred space, and cinema.
Impact — A New Cinematic Framework
Access — Extends the reach of immersive sound healing beyond physical venues to global audiences across film, XR, and institutional platforms.
Scale — Transforms site-specific live performances into a distributable cinematic work capable of reaching millions.
Environment — Deepens sensory and emotional connection to the natural world through a film built from its patterns, textures, and rhythms.
Attention — Cultivates sustained focus and genuine reflection through sound-driven pacing in an era of extreme distraction.
Form — Advances the language of multi-sensory, non-linear cinematic storytelling at a moment when the field is actively expanding.
Reach — Deployable across film festivals, XR platforms, planetarium domes, sacred architectural spaces, museum installations, and touring immersive venues worldwide.
Healing — Grounded in the growing clinical evidence base for sound-based healing, this film carries the therapeutic potential of live sound experience to audiences who could never otherwise access it.

Project Components
Three Presentation Formats — One Global Vision
Illuminated Resonance is designed for three distinct and scalable presentation formats, each a complete experience in its own right — and each its own booking, its own institutional partnership, and its own audience.
Format 1 — The Film — Festival & Platform Distribution
A stand-alone feature-length XR cinematic work, formatted for international film festival submission, institutional screening, and global platform distribution. The core asset from which all other formats extend.
Built from original projection-mapped cinematic visual systems, AI-augmented geometry and cymatic compositions, natural pattern-based footage from diverse ecosystems, and newly filmed musician sequences in South Florida natural environments — with musicians serving as the human and spiritual anchors of the film.
Format 2 — Dome & Planetarium — Spatial Cinema + Live Performance
Mastered in Dolby Atmos 360-degree spatial audio and formatted for full-dome exhibition. In its most powerful form, the South Beach Sound Healing Orchestra performs live within the dome alongside the film — surrounding audiences in a complete convergence of spatial cinema and live sound healing.
Programmable by planetariums, science museums, and immersive cultural venues worldwide — positioning Illuminated Resonance as both a distributable film and a touring live event with its own dedicated venue circuit.
Format 3 — Cathedral & Sacred Architecture — A Proven Global Format
Large-scale projection mapping of the film’s original cinematic works onto sacred architectural spaces — with live South Beach Sound Healing Orchestra performance. Walls, columns, vaulted ceilings, and stained glass become the screen. The building becomes the instrument.
This format was premiered to a sold-out audience at Trinity Cathedral — Miami’s oldest cathedral — establishing a proof of concept now ready to scale.
Notre Dame. Berlin Cathedral. St. Patrick’s Cathedral, New York. Cologne Cathedral. Westminster Abbey.
The architectural canvas exists. The work is ready. The only question is which sacred space is next.
Additional Components
XR Immersive Installations Spatial extensions of the film presented in museums, festivals, and cultural institutions — including dome environments, projection-mapped installations, and augmented reality experiences.
Educational & Public Programming Workshops, lectures, and institutional programs exploring immersive storytelling, sound and perception, and environmental media practices — extending the film’s impact into communities and academic contexts.

Why This Film. Why This Director.
[dNASAb] does not propose immersive experiences. He creates them — and has been doing so across disciplines, scales, and contexts, in public, in front of real audiences, in real spaces. The cathedral performances sell out. The waterfall projections stop people in their tracks. The audience response is not polite appreciation. It is awe.
The Knight Foundation recognized this practice. The Durrës Biennale jury awarded it First Prize, Best National Pavilion, representing the United States. Institutions including the Frost Museum of Science, Faena Forum, the Miami Beach Bandshell, and the Miami Beach Botanical Garden have presented it.
Illuminated Resonance is not this director’s first immersive work. It is the culmination of a practice that has been building, performing, and evolving in public — refined through live audience response across venues, scales, and contexts. The film is the vessel that carries that practice to the world.
This is global expansion of a proven product, led by the artist who built it from the ground up.
Live Development & Traction
Illuminated Resonance has been developed and stress-tested through a sustained series of live performances across Miami’s most significant cultural, sacred, and natural venues — from its oldest cathedral to its most internationally recognized contemporary arts spaces:
- Trinity Cathedral — Miami’s oldest cathedral (sold-out performance)
- Miami Beach Bandshell
- Miami Beach Botanical Garden
- Faena Forum
- 360-degree immersive projection environments
- Wellness and sound-based events including Betterness AI
- Natural ecosystem sites across South Florida
Each performance has refined the visual and sonic language of the film and demonstrated strong, consistent audience response across art, wellness, cultural, and spiritual communities. These are not test screenings. They are the proof of concept — live, public, and documented.
Upcoming performances include return engagements at Trinity Cathedral and the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, continuing to build the live archive and audience base from which the film and global touring program will launch.
Distribution & Revenue Path
Illuminated Resonance is designed for multi-channel distribution across three parallel revenue streams — film, live performance, and institutional partnership — each reinforcing and expanding the others.

A Work Whose Moment Has Arrived
Illuminated Resonance has been built the right way — slowly, carefully, and in public. Performed live in sacred spaces, natural ecosystems, and immersive environments across Miami. Tested against real audiences who leave transformed. Refined through years of practice into something that consistently produces what very few artistic works ever achieve: genuine, overwhelming awe.
The proof of concept exists. The team is assembled. The equipment is ready. The vision is clear.
What remains is the resources to take this from Miami to the world — from Trinity Cathedral to Notre Dame, from the Miami Beach Bandshell to Sundance, from South Florida’s ecosystems to the great natural environments of our planet.
Illuminated Resonance is an invitation to be part of something that will outlast the room it was made in.
