Project Statement

“THE GOOOOOAAAAAL IS LOVE” is an immersive cinematic futbol experience created for Miami Beach during the 2026 FIFA World Cup™.

Set against the backdrop of one of the most anticipated global sporting events in history, the project explores futbol not simply as a game, but as one of humanity’s most powerful expressions of passion, belonging, identity, memory, and collective joy.

Created by [dNASAb], the work transforms The Orb at The Betsy Hotel into a large-scale public canvas, inviting audiences into a visually immersive journey through the emotional landscapes of the world’s game. Drawing upon cinematic storytelling, original music, aerial cinematography, experimental image-making, and emerging creative tools, the project merges multiple disciplines to create a singular public experience rooted in wonder, connection, and celebration.

Developed specifically for The Orb, the work was conceived from the outset as a site-responsive cinematic experience. Rather than adapting existing content to an architectural display, the project’s visual language, movement, pacing, and composition were created in direct relationship to the Orb’s unique form. The architecture itself becomes part of the storytelling, transforming a public landmark into an instrument of shared experience.

At a moment when much of the world is defined by conflict, uncertainty, and division, “THE GOOOOOAAAAAL IS LOVE” proposes a different possibility. Through the universal language of futbol, the project celebrates the power of shared rituals to bring people together across cultures, generations, languages, and borders. It embraces the idea that while teams may compete on the field, the deeper significance of the game lies in its capacity to unite communities through common passion and collective experience.
